Products

Products we trade

Summit Trading Group is category-flexible and opportunity-driven. Rather than holding a fixed catalogue, we evaluate each product against the commercial and regulatory reality of the destination market.

How we approach product categories

We do not publish a fixed price list. Our work starts from a specific requirement, either a buyer looking for a product or a manufacturer looking for a market, and the product scope follows from that.

What stays constant is the evaluation. Before we take an opportunity forward, we look at whether the product can be supplied consistently, priced competitively and moved into the destination market within the applicable requirements.

If a category cannot meet those conditions, we say so instead of taking the opportunity forward.

Evaluation

What we assess before taking a product forward

Every product opportunity is reviewed individually against the same commercial criteria.

Supply reliability

Whether the manufacturer or supplier can hold quality, capacity and lead times beyond a first order.

Commercial viability

Whether the landed cost leaves a workable margin for the buyer or the distribution channel.

Market requirements

Labelling, certification and regulatory conditions that apply in the destination market for that category.

Demand fit

Whether there is a real buyer or channel for the product, not just availability on the supply side.

What we do not take on

We decline opportunities where the required certifications cannot realistically be obtained, where the pricing expectation has no basis in the current market, or where the supply cannot be sustained past a first order.

Regulated categories, including medical and food products, are only pursued when the applicable requirements for the destination market can be identified and met.

Product questions

Do you have a product catalogue?
No. Summit Trading Group works from live requirements rather than a fixed catalogue. Tell us the product you need or the product you supply, and we evaluate the opportunity from there.
Can you source a product that is not in your categories?
Often yes. The categories describe where our work concentrates, not a hard limit. Send the specification and we will tell you whether it is realistic.
Do you handle regulated products?
Only when the applicable requirements for the destination market can be identified and met. We do not promise regulatory outcomes.

Tell us about your product

Whether you are buying or supplying, send the specification and market and we will assess the fit.
